About RainTree

RainTree opened its doors in March 2004 in a gracious old Bangalore neighbourhood on Sankey Road opposite the Hotel ITC Windsor .

The store inhabits a sprawling 5000sq ft colonial bungalow set in an extensive garden that’s a haven of luxurious unhurried shopping in a hectic city.

Its name comes from the imposing Rain Tree that’s grown here over many decades.

The bungalow has been divided into large spaces which offer the newest collections from some of the best designers in the country for clothes and accessories.

There is also traditionally designed furniture, objects in stone, wood, glass & porcelain, rare pillars & urlis and many more covetable artifacts of unusual materials and design.

The experience is complete at the quaint cafe ,located in the airy, light filled side veranda of the house which is the perfect place to relax over pastries, quiches & coffee.

There are also two exhibition galleries which with generous proportions and soaring ceilings make them the logical avenue for high end product promotions and exhibitions. Raintree, thus, has many things to offer many people. The thrill of the unexpected, the satisfactionof finding uncompromising quality and the realistic pricing that today’s customers insist upon: Raintree, quite simply, brings style to living.
